North Lincolnshire Armed Forces Day will be held at the Brumby Hall Sports Ground (DN16 1AA) this year on the 24th of June; 9:30am to 6pm.
Not only is it the 100th anniversary of the forming of the Royal Air Force, it also is the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1.
The event begins with a flag raising ceremony and parade, and then has various events will take part in the arena throughout the day. Military units will be in attendance as well as Cadet units, and there will also be military vehicles and items of interest will be on show throughout the showground. The event will conclude with a Sunset ceremony.
There will be lots of entertainment for all the family as well as paintballing, a climbing wall, live music and plenty of food.
